Welcome to Whimsyville, where holiday cheer is measured in more than presents!

Learners will spend the afternoon immersed in a whimsical holiday adventure filled with hands-on STEM challenges, creative take-home projects, meaningful community service, and plenty of festive fun. Through teamwork, problem-solving, and giving back, our Whimsyville Whos will discover that some of the best parts of the season are the things we create, share, and do for others.

We’ll gather for a festive Whimsyville Feast with treats, then cozy up with popcorn for a holiday movie to end our afternoon together.

Please note that our feast is part of the holiday experience and does not replace lunch. Learners should eat lunch before arriving. Festive treats and popcorn will be provided during the program.

Learners will head home with their creations, a lot of holiday cheer, and hopefully the reminder that even the smallest Who can make a meaningful difference.

ABOUT DISCOVERY DAYS

Discovery Days are one-day immersive learning adventures designed to turn curiosity into hands-on discovery.

Built from the same engaging approach as our signature Learning Labs, each Discovery Day invites learners to step inside a theme rather than simply learn about it. Academic thinking and real-world skills are woven naturally into imaginative challenges, collaborative problem-solving, experiments, creative projects, and meaningful experiences.

Our intentionally small groups allow learners to be active participants, not simply part of the crowd. With opportunities to contribute, collaborate, ask questions, and take on meaningful roles, learners have space to explore while benefiting from the energy of learning alongside others.

Because some of the best learning happens when curiosity leads the way.
