The Homeschool Hub is a place for families to find meaningful learning experiences, opportunities for connection, and support along the way. From small-group Curiosity Circles and immersive Learning Labs and Discovery Days, to homeschool evaluations and family resources, our offerings are designed to complement the learning already happening at home while giving learners new ways to explore their interests, build confidence, and discover alongside others.

Curiosity Circles

Small groups. Big questions. Meaningful discovery.

Created especially for homeschool learners, Curiosity Circles are multi-week, small-group learning experiences that give students the time and space to explore a topic more deeply.

Each Circle is built around a shared theme and brings learning to life through hands-on investigation, discussion, creative challenges, collaboration, and meaningful connections across subjects. With intentionally small groups, learners have opportunities to contribute their ideas, learn alongside peers, and follow their curiosity in ways that aren’t always possible in a traditional classroom.

Topics change throughout the year, so every Curiosity Circle offers a new adventure to explore.

Our Fall 2026 Curiosity Circle: Passport to Discovery — Around the World
A six-week journey across continents, cultures, geography, food, history, and more—culminating in a celebration of everything our explorers discover along the way.

Our portfolio reviews and assessments provide the necessary documentation for the school division while honoring your child’s unique educational journey.

    From navigating Virginia homeschool requirements and exploring curriculum options to creating routines, organizing learning spaces, and thinking through the everyday “How do I actually make this work?” questions, we offer practical, personalized support for your homeschool journey.

  • Key Virginia Dates

    • August 1, 2026: Deadline to submit Evidence of Academic Progress (Evaluation or Testing) for all homeschooled children ages 6 and above.

    • August 15, 2026: Deadline to submit your Notice of Intent (NOI) and description of curriculum for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

    • Note: if a child is 5 years old by September 30th, the parent must officially File the Notice of Intent (NOI) to register as a homeschooler. You may also “opt-out” by written letter to school board.
